Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.584719 By Jefferson Starship. By Marty Balin. Arranged by Jeff Tincher. Contemporary. Score. 33 pages. Jeff Tincher #6036961. Published by Jeff Tincher (A0.584719). Here is the first single from Jefferson Starship. Jefferson Airplane was big in the 60s as a Psychedelic band. They split into two groups in the early 70s, Hot Tuna and Jefferson Starship. This song made it big as a single and on FM radio. This song was a surprise, being a mellow jazz-style tune with a lot of counter rhythms in the melodies. This arrangement is in the original key from their Red Octopus album. This one will bring back memories for the older crowd. Warning...this is the long version of the song and some of the lyrics are very suggestive. Duration = 7:09. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1237074 Composed by John W. Fisher. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,Instructional,Spiritual. Score. 11 pages. John Fisher #832587. Published by John Fisher (A0.1237074). Thomas Jefferson and Mozart were contemporaries.  Years ago, I published An American Anthem - A Declaration, based on a variation of Mozart's famous piano sonata in C No. 16. It had no piano accompaniment, but only a weak trumpet fanfare.  Now, to celebrate the 4th of July 2023, I have extended and enriched my original composition, adding one more line of the Declaration and a stirring piano accompaniment.  America, in these perilous times needs again to read Jefferson's words;  America, to save its soul needs to sing Jefferson's words.
