SKU: A0.921766

Composed by Lisa Waites. Christian,Christmas,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 1 pages. Servant Song Music and Ministry #6617305. Published by Servant Song Music and Ministry (A0.921766).

This short, accessible piece of worship music was written as a liturgical response for use during Christian services during the Advent/Christmas/Epiphany seasons of the church calendar. It returns the work of the people TO the people, placing these musical Words of Assurance into the mouths and hearts of the congregation and/or choir, rather than having the minister alone speaking the words of absolution/assurance after the Prayer of Confession.

Set in a simple key for beginning accompanists and including chord charts for guitarists (or pianists who prefer to play by reading the melody notes in the RH and playing by chord symbol with their LH), this song has been set in a perfect vocal range for congregational voices and/or church choirs. Melody and harmony parts have been included in the score so that you can divide into soprano/alto parts if you'd like to, but the piece works equally well if you stick to the melody alone.

Non-liturgical churches have also appreciated this piece as a way for congregants to respond musically to services on themes such as God's Grace, Forgiveness, Reconciliation, Prodigals, Mercy, and also throughout Advent or whenever the pastor is focusing on themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, etc.

Published by Servant Song Music & Ministry, this piece is hot off the press for use in Advent 2021, but watch for an SATB Choral version to follow at Sheet Music Plus in the next week or two! There is also a video available on YouTube at https://youtu.be/orgm6VuEJVo which you are free to use for digital or hybrid worship services. The lyrics are Closed Captioned, so your people can learn to sing the piece in rhythm with the piano accompaniment.

Composed by Matthew Yarnell. Christian,Gospel,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Score. 3 pages. Flome the Gnome #3684867. Published by Flome the Gnome (A0.993323).

I was originally inspired to write Rock of My Salvation & Soul near the end of 2012 and remastered it in 2018.  The additions to the song were the intro and the final few versus which restate the Christian’s desire to give their heart completely to Jesus.  Moreover, it also reaffirms that the believer is choosing to build their life and future upon the Chief Cornerstone, whom is Jesus. It was first played publicly at the Country Church near my home on October 7, 2018.  I pray that it nourishes your soul, your family, and/or your congregation. Please let others know about my songs; say a pray for me, my family, and ministry; and consider supporting my ministry financially so that I might have time to write additional songs and/or serve the Lord.

This song would be good for all churches but is probably best suited for those that enjoy more traditional hymns.

I can be found online at my website: www.flomethegnome.com and on facebook. You can email me at flomethegnome@gmail.com  You can snail mail me at Matthew Yarnell, 2098 Marble Valley Basin Road, Addy, WA. 99101.  Or, you can call me at 509-675-3420.

Praise the Lord is a more upbeat song that helps you recall what Jesus has done while at the same time allowing you to sing mightily - Praise the Lord.  This is the short version in that it has four verses whereas the unedited version has five verses. Both versions include the Praise the Lord chorus. If you're looking for a new song that will encourage your congregation to stand up and praise the Lord, then please consider adding this song to your collection.

I pray that this song nourishes your soul, your family, and/or your congregation.  Please let others know about my songs; say a prayer for me, my family, and ministry; and consider supporting my ministry financially so that I might have more time to write additional songs and/or serve the Lord.

Composed by Benjamin Ayotte. Contemporary. Score. 2 pages. Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings #3233711. Published by Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings (A0.733133).

In 1983 the school began through the vision of Earl and Bobbie Moore. Mark Moore, the son, was the first principal. The church school concept was a compliment of the God, family, church, work priority that they believed Gods Word taught. The ministry began at the Penn Theatre in downtown Plymouth, then the Masononic Building next door and then as the congregation grew the vision was to purchase and renovate a car dealership on road (now a catering hall/building). The school started with a Kindergarten and a first grade and second grade. The idea was to add a grade each year.

From 1985-1990 keith Anleitner was the principal and by adding a grade each year and the success of the ministry and school made the enrollment Triple from 40 students to 125 students. He started the sports program and the music program was started already by Mark Moore. Specials teachers were part time in the early days and a retired Plymouth/Canton band leader  took over the music program and integrated instruments in the 1990s. Kathryn Vickie Herczeg succeeded Anleitner as the principal. Anleitner, as Basketball Coach, coached guys like Chuck Younkin, Brandon McKelvet, Dion Dixon, Shawn McClain then in 1995 Paul Salah, now Associate Superintendent of WRESA came to Agape. With guys like Matt Major, Adam Martin (now Dearborn HS, principal), Josh Thompson, and Cory Mullin the basketball team went 23-2. That began a very successful basketball decade @Agape Christian Academy before it closed in 2009.

Benjamin Ayotte served for a short time ad music director between January of 2005 through June of 2006 before leading to teach at the University of North Carolina. He composed the Alma Mater in February of 2006, feeling that the school needed its own anthem to be performed at school ceremonies and events.

As you Filled Bezalel © 2020 Stephen R. Dalrymple [copyright registered in Worthy Worship and 6 Other Unpublished Works] I Count it a Joy ♫ Original song by Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ Based on Exodus 35:30 ff ♫ The filling of the Holy Spirit was given long before Pentecost. The chief artisan of the Tabernacle, Bezalel was filled with the Holy Spirit in the Sinai desert. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit was not permanent until Pentecost, but the filling is seen throughout the pages of Scripture. ♫The filling of the Holy Spirit ought not be connected with one specific activity (such as the gift of tongues) but any activity that the Holy Spirit can use to accomplish bringing glory to God. Micah was filled with the Spirit of God when he prophesied against the leadership of Samaria and Jerusalem. Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit as he spoke to the pilgrims at Pentecost. Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit as she greeted Mary, and of course Bezalel as he received knowledge and guidance to design and create the Tabernacle. ♫ I wrote this song in Haiti while meditating in Scripture and thinking about ministry. This song is short because I realized that it was better suited as a warmup for ministry than a congregational worship song. Whether on a concert stage or a church platform, it is so easy to get caught up during a performance and get sidetracked, concentrating on the the praise, recognition, acceptance from the audience that singing, playing and instrument, or preaching can bring. This song reminds me of my motive in sharing my gifts and the only method for my contribution to achieve lasting, eternal benefits. ♫ music © 2020 (copyright registered in Worthy Worship and 6 Other Unpublished Works ♫ recording ℗ 2020 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ recording ℗ 2020 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ presentation © 2020 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ sequenced by the composer ♫ This .pdf file includes 1) labeled copies for up to 7 printed copies of the vocal with piano accompaniment and 2) vocal with piano accompaniment for 10 inch tablet. Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Kathryn W. Hales. Children,Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Kevin G. Pace #954376. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1370002).

A children's song, telling the story of the sons of Mosiah from the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Christ.  Music by Kevin G. Pace.  Text by Kathryn W. Hales.

Text:
The Lord told King Mosiah to let his sons go away,
To the land of Nephi where for many years they'd stay.
They wanted to preach the gospel in the Lord's ministry,
To the sinful, wicked Lamanites who were their enemies.

Now one of the sons was Ammon who had been a rebellious youth,
But after Alma's change of heart, he wanted to know the truth.
He became Lamoni's servant, watching over the king's sheep,
He beat some robbers who came to steal, leaving a pile of arms at his feet.

Then he taught King Lamoni the true source of his strength and might,
That the king should change his ways, repent and do what's right.
Lamoni believed what Ammon taught and all his people too,
They became so very righteous because God's promises are true.

Aaron was another son of Nephite King Mosiah,
He taught of the Creation, of the Fall and God's Son who would die
To save all men from death and sin, yea, Jesus, the Holy One,
Who would come to earth at some future day to save each and ev'ry one.

Omni and his brother Himnor were also Mosiah's sons,
But not much is recorded about their missions.
But they were faithful servants during all their trial filled days,
They taught many people how to walk in God's own chosen way.

Chorus:
I want to be like Mosiah's sons and share God's holy word.
I can be a missionary, a servant of the Lord.
I can be so very courageous, I can the gospel teach,
That all may know God's holy grace is within their loving reach.

Song of the Recovering Perfectionist original song by Stephen R Dalrymple music © 1999 (© registered in 'Sacred Songs 1978-1999’ collection) recording ℗ 2020 Stephen R Dalrymple presentation © 2022 Stephen R Dalrymple sequenced by the composer ♫ At the age of 37, God used a good friend to reset my course in life and ministry. I learned a perfectionist is someone who is obsessed with doing things right so he or she can be accepted by others and that Jesus is not a perfectionist. I learned that perfectionism is one possible syndrome of rejection syndrome, and that the antidote to rejection syndrome is to learn to feel accepted in Jesus Christ. ♫ This journey has been extremely threatening but powerfully liberating. To be Christlike is to be accepting, not critical; to see potential in others, not continuously looking for flaws to pick; to be secure in my Heavenly Father, not trying to continuously please people and earn acceptance. ♫ I often sing this song to myself when I catch myself feeling rejected and/or acting in perfectionistic ways. ♫ Based on passages such as Romans 15:7 and Ephesians 1:3-6, this song celebrates the unconditional love of God and how learning to accept God's acceptance will help me pass acceptance and forgiveness on to others, allowing me to loosen the obsession to be 'perfect' and in control. ♫ This .pdf file includes 1) letter size lead sheet 2) vocal score with piano accompaniment, 3) lead sheet for 10 inch tablet, and vocal line with piano for 10 inch tablet.
