It is the opening number for Street Party but works very well as a stand alone piece for any celebration. It is a pentatonic song and is a part of the DaCapo repertoire which enables children to learn relative solfa with fun materials. It was written for the Big Lunch (Eden project supporting streets to have their own street parties) and was sung at Eden by school children, DaCapo's Fernando Ramirez and Barbara Winsor.The piano reduction makes it accessible to many more choirs. Performance note:There is only one set of words and we suggest that you create a different version for each verse.
