After releasing a YouTube video of SILENT GIFTS, the piano solo on November 26, 2009, my good friend and composition student, Don Gillis made this YouTube comment:

Beautiful melody. Very appropriate for lyrics with a Christmas theme.

When I met Don a few days later, I asked him if he had any ideas for words to the music SILENT GIFTS. He said he would give it a try. Many months passed before we settled on wonderful words that express our intention of the gift of a smile at Christmas. Don's perfect lyrics add a brand new dimension to the song.

This Holiday song has a catchy melody with seasonal lyrics. It's ideal for vocalists at concerts who wanted to spread a cheerful and meaningful message for Christmas.

It was September 5, 2014 at my First Friday Piano Concert at the Atrium in San Jose, CA that I premiered THE GRANDPARENT'S DAY SONG.

Many of the Atrium residents, as well as many of us, are unaware that the second Sunday in September is NATIONAL GRANDPARENTS DAY.

Since there are only a handful of songs dedicated to grandparents, I decided to write and dedicate this special piece of music to grandparents all over the world.

My inspiration for the music and words came to me from my many years of performing for the wonderful residents at the Atrium (Brookdale San Jose).

This is a popular song for grandkids, parents and singers who want to honor their grandparents, giving them special acknowledgement with gratitude and love.

In June 2005, while attending the annual International Rotary Convention in Chicago, I found myself enthralled and captivated by the many motivational speeches, the memorable ceremonies, and the heartfelt fellowship of the attendees from all over the world, who gathered to celebrate the one hundred year anniversary of the founding of Rotary International.

Years later, it was brought to my attention that board members were exploring the idea of a new Rotarian Anthem. Remembering the extraordinary and enlightening experiences at the Chicago convention, I composed this song OUR ROTARY. It is dedicated to all the men and women who make up this very important and worthwhile organization.

As my way of giving back, I present this song to Rotary International. Its continued beneficial contribution and service to the world is paramount...making the world a better place in which to live.

This is what inspired me to begin writing this song during Christmas 2017.

It's about looking for a star up in the sky and then making a wish...a wish of finding someone special to be with forevermore.

The melody is catchy with a rhythmic swing. The lilting tempo gives the listener a delightful sense of wanting to dance.

This is a popular song for singers who would like to add a new and original piece to their repertoire.

The song would also make a nice background theme for TV or movies.
