SKU: A0.1012006

Composed by Haydon Harvey. Christian,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. Haydon Harvey #3533713. Published by Haydon Harvey (A0.1012006).

'Of His Holiness' would be best played with solo piano and maybe a synthesizer in the background. Obviously one good have drums, bass and other instrumentation but I think the feel of the song would best come across with solo piano. The lyric are directly taken from scripture; namely Psalm 96 KJV. The lyrics don't follow the order of the psalm verses and is effectively jumps around the psalm. There's no specific reason for this other than to maintain melodic flow but even with the jumping around the song still communicates the general idea of the psalm.

SKU: A0.1356524

Composed by C. Austin Miles. Arranged by Leonora Hardy. Christian,Lent,Religious,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Leonora Hardy #941196. Published by Leonora Hardy (A0.1356524).

This lovely hymn is one which Elvis Presley used on his gospel album. Although this is not his version, it is an easily learned arrangement for the pianist who wants to have a more flowing style of music to accompany group singing. I have a 2 page version of this hymn elsewhere on this site. The melody is retained, as well as the traditional timing to help singers even if a song leader is not present. It is also suitable for church preludes, offertories or communion and particularly during Lent. It can also be used to accompany a soloist or C instruments such as violin, cello, flute or oboe and a lead sheet is included.  Lyrics are included as well as chords for guitar. Intermediate level. Also known as I Come to the Garden Alone. leonorahardy@gmail.com.
