Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1279933 Composed by Harry Warren and Jack Brooks. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Film/TV,Jazz. Score. 4 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #871347. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1279933). That's Amore is a 1953 song by composer Harry Warren and lyricist Jack Brooks, and became a major hit and signature song for Dean Martin, who first recorded and released it that year. Amore (pronounced [aˈmoËre]) means love in Italian. The song was played in the 1987 film Moonstruck, the 1995 film Grumpier Old Men and the 1999 film Stuart Little. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements, we also added what we think are some pretty cool left-hand fills. We hope you like what we've done with this grand old tune!

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.529592 Composed by Robert J. Sherman. Arranged by Original Piano/Vocal Arrangement by Robert J. Sherman. Broadway,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Musical/Show. Score. 5 pages. Sherman Theatrical Entertainment Ltd. #117898. Published by Sherman Theatrical Entertainment Ltd. (A0.529592). That's Something! is front he musical Bumblescratch and is a recitative sung by “Perryâ€, a young plague rat who is dealing with intense, unfamiliar and deeply contradictory emotions. Having recently fallen in love with “Thamesa†(a human girl), Perry becomes enraged when “Melbourne†attempts to stop the relationship. Melbourne explains that a human girl can only mean trouble for a rat but Perry doesn’t want to hear any of it. As the song progresses however, Perry acknowledges that Melbourne is only looking out for his best interest. Finally though, Perry’s feelings for Thamesa win out. Ultimately Perry resolves to continue the relationship. This is an excellent audition song for a young performer as it allows the singer to express three radically different emotional states, all in one (fairly brief) piece. Vocal arrangements are available for both young male and female voices. When printing, please scale to fit for standard US Letter and A4 size.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844624 Composed by Harold Arlen. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Contemporary,Jazz. Score. 8 pages. Phil Beaman #4413011. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844624). The Man That Got Away is a repertoire standard that was written for Judy Garland and later recorded by Frank Sinatra.  I wrote this version for one of my students who was auditioning to get into an Arts School. She was not a singer and not going into a vocal programme, but was required to do a vocal piece anyway as part of the audition process. Thus I have kept the vocal range limited to a comfortable 10th, from A4 to C5; most of it between Middle C and the next C. Further, this student had severe asthma and thus poor breath control. So I wrote this arrangement with short phrases, lots of caesurae, breath marks, rests, rubato, and a piano interlude just past the middle.  The interest lies in the constantly shifting moods from swagger, to blues, to smoky jazz, to angry declarations, to wistful melancholy, to chanted recitation, to expressive rubato. This is underscored by a piano part which incorporates all of the above into a contemporary jazz style of rich extended chords.  But you won't be thinking of any of these things when you perform this stunning piece because it just all works together to create a fresh, jazzy twist to this old classic.P.S. My student won her spot in the school with this song:)8 pages, 4 minutesRecording is of the male version (The Gal That Got Away).

Pace #726952. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1126251). A lovely, Christmas song for children. Music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball. Text: I wonder on that Christmas day, when Baby Jesus slept on hay, If He dreamed the world would sing sweet songs about the love He’d bring? I wonder when the star shone bright if sheep were startled by the light? Did the shepherds stop and pray to find where Baby Jesus lay? I wonder if the cattle stirred when cries from Jesus could be heard? Did his mother wrap him tight and sing to Him throughout the night? I wonder when the wisemen came, if they were told the Baby’s Name? Were the precious gifts they brought then used by Jesus as He taught? I wonder on that Christmas day, when Baby Jesus slept on hay, If He knew He’d grow to be God’s greatest gift for you and me? I wonder if dear Joseph stayed with Mary to give needed aid? Did he feed the donkey there, or give sweet Mary all his care?

Published by Gavin Koh (A0.1417869). Here is my 7-page piano solo arrangement of What's the Name of that Song? (which includes lyrics). This fan favorite features the cast of Sesame Street singing of a mysterious song to a catchy tune. Unfortunately, no one seems to know the name of that song. This piece has been performed several times on Sesame Street, in studio recordings, and on stage, both domestically and internationally. According to the Muppet wiki, this segment first debut was in Episode 666 back in 1974; this is the version this music is based on. The music is composed by Sam Pottle with lyrics by David Axelrod.
