Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.893832 Composed by David Kai. Christian. Score. 9 pages. David Kai #5299895. Published by David Kai (A0.893832). This new hymn is especially appropriate for Affirming Ministries. The hymn draws on rainbow and rainbow-coloured imagery in the Bible, and the imagery of light which is composed of rainbow colours. The hymn suggests that Affirming Ministries have a badly needed light which they can proudly share with the world. This is an SATB arrangement of the hymn, however the author allows the copying of this music for one church choir. Please print of project the words during worship and report use to One License or CCLI.Chorus: We are a rainbow, sign of covenant and peace,For the flood of tears will finally cease to be,Come shine your rainbow, splash your hues across the sky,Paint the world in colours proud and bold and free. For more information about the hymn, go to:www.sites.google.com/site/davidwkaismusic

Really Good Music, LLC. #4404632. Published by Really Good Music, LLC. (A0.868707). So ben, che la speranza is an aria from Solo cantata III Tirsi chiamare a Nome, written by the eminent Italian composer Nicola PORPORA (1686 – 1768). It is one of twelve cantatas, first published in London in 1735. They were written on the poetry of Pietro Metastasio, famous Italian librettist and poet, who once took music lessons from Porpora. The realization of the aria for voice and piano, made by Sergei Pichugin, is based on the first publication of the collection and on the manuscript of the cantata. The aria may be an invaluable addition to the repertoire of vocal teachers and students. It is available in the key of E major (B3 – F#5) for low voice.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: A0.502406 Composed by Misha Stefanuk. Broadway,Contemporary,Folk,Musical/Show. Score. 123 pages. Published by Misha Stefanuk (A0.502406). An American Story: George Gershwin is a brief, jazz-infused opera in one act on the subject of George Gershwin, one of America's greatest and most influential composers. Although fictional, most of the opera's story is based upon biographical facts and direct quotes from George Gershwin's interviews and other sources. In this show, the audience is given a brief glimpse at the music and style of 1920s, when George and his brother, the champion lyricist, Ira Gershwin, were first starting to experience great success the world over. Their Broadway shows were in high demand, and many of them were made into lucrative Hollywood movies. Their shows are still often performed today. An American Story opens with a scene in which George and Ira are working through a piece they have written and are discussing their successes of the past year, including George's appearance on the cover of Time magazine. The operagoes on to introduce two female characters including Kay Swift, who was a significant composer at the time, as well and a strong influence upon George.Gertrude Lawrence, the British singer for whom George and Ira Gershwin wrote the musical Oh, Kay! also appears later in the opera, when she rehearses with George. An American Story: George Gershwin is The New Opera's second work dedicated to popularizing the life stories of historical and cultural figures, following Wolfy, an opera focusing on the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This helps further The New Opera's mission to cultivate a growing interest in artistic and musical subjects for audiences of all ages and social levels and extend our enthusiasm for outstanding achievement in the arts.Complete You tube playlist can be found here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUIlJVpmilpf_2ikBsnqhccqxAa4Gyy2x

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1319678 By Dolly Parton. By Carol Hall. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 4 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #908230. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1319678). Hard Candy Christmas is a song written by composer-lyricist Carol Hall for the musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.Near the end of the original play, individual girls of the brothel sing lines of the verses as they are preparing to leave; they join together on the refrains. This pattern was adopted for the film version of the musical, except that Dolly Parton (who played Miss Mona) is featured as soloist on the refrains, with the girls accompanying her. A further alteration can be found on the soundtrack album for the film in which Parton alone sings the verses. This version was developed from the original 1977 sheet music and features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We hope you like what we've done with this grand old tune!
