Composed by Darcy Hill. Children. Score. 3 pages. Darcy Hill #1768651. Published by Darcy Hill (A0.960863).

Abraham Lincoln was a wise man. He chose his words carefully and spoke well. Whatever you are, be a good one, is a perfect example of a powerful, meaningful Abe Lincoln quote. There are countless dozens of such quotes attributed to him. This song addresses the importance of words and, for my students, became an important lesson in assessing the value and impact of the words each of us use throughout the course of an ordinary day. Do my words bring blessing or do they bring hurt? This is the sheet music for Wise Words. One Arts Infusion Collaborative seeks to create original music and poetry to support and enhance curricular content, celebrate holidays, stir imaginations, and draw students into challenging mini-lesson discussions.

By All Star Tribute. By Al Cleveland, Marvin Gaye, and Renaldo Benson. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Pop,Rock. Score. 3 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #1052463. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1474842).

What's Going On is a song by American singer-songwriter Marvin Gaye, released in 1971 on the Motown subsidiary Tamla. It is the opening track of Gaye's studio album of the same name. Originally inspired by a police brutality incident witnessed by Renaldo Obie Benson, the song was composed by Benson, Al Cleveland, and Gaye and produced by Gaye himself. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We added what we think are some pretty cool left-hand fills that we hope you will like! It's a fun song and not too hard to play! We hope you like what we've done with this great ol' tune!
