Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.994887 Composed by Anthony Mosakowski. 20th Century,A Cappella,Christian,Classical,Contemporary,Sacred. Octavo. 20 pages. Anthony Mosakowski #4580953. Published by Anthony Mosakowski (A0.994887). This choral song cycle consists of settings of the four main Marian antiphons used in the traditional Latin liturgy: Ave, Regina coelorum; Regina Coeli; Alma Redemptoris Mater; and Salve Regina. The music makes use of much expressive dissonance but within the limits of a purely diatonic collection of pitches. The antiphons are presented here in the order in which they would be sung during the church year. If performed as a group in a concert setting they may be sung in this order or the order may be changed for musical reasons. They may also be performed individually for liturgical or concert use.

Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.939403 Composed by Robert Debbaut. Contemporary. Octavo. 31 pages. ROBERT DEBBAUT #6342191. Published by ROBERT DEBBAUT (A0.939403).  American lyric poet Sara Trevor Teasdale (1884-1933) was the first woman and the first poet to win the Pulitzer Prize for Literature. She won the 1918 Pulitzer Prize for her 1917 collection entitled Love Songs. Teasdale was roundly praised for her lyric mastery and romantic subjects. Her poems most often take on the first person role of their female narrators and protagonists. Teasdale’s first poem was published in 1907. Later that year she published her first collection of poems, Sonnets to Duse and Other Poems, written mainly for the Italian actress Eleonora Duse. In 1911 her second collection Helen of Troy and Other Poems received high praise from critics. Her third collection, Rivers to the Sea from 1915 was and remains a best seller and has been reprinted several times. The three poems used here, Joy, The Answer, and .To Joy all date from 1915. These three poems were also included in her Pulitzer Prize-winning collection Love Songs. Teasdale was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 8, 1884. She was a sickly child, so much so that she was home schooled. As a young woman she had many suitors, including the poet Vachel Lindsay, who thought he could never provide for her. She eventually married businessman Ernst Filsinger, a great admirer of her poems. The couple relocated to New York City. Filsinger’s constant business travel left Teasdale very lonely and depressed. She eventually relocated to another state so she could quickly divorce him. Filsinger was shocked. Teasdale took up again with Vachel Lindsay, who has himself married and had children. Lindsay committed suicide in 1931 and Teasdale followed likewise two years later. She is interred at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis.

Female choir (SSAA) a cappella - advanced - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q46578 Composed by Pascal Martine. This edition: choral score. Church service. Schott Choral Music. Downloadable, Choral score. Duration 3:30. Schott Music - Digital #Q46578. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q46578). Latin.Anyone who likes refined rhythms, razor-sharp articulation, lively melismata, and high soprano notes will certainly be in for a treat with the sacred choral composition Cantate Domino by Pascal Martiné. The Latin choral work for four-part a cappella women's choir is almost bubbling over with syncopes and tongue-twisting syllables on the one hand, and melismatic melody lines on the other hand. This a cappella setting for women's choir (SSAA) with verses 1-4 from Psalm 96 lives on the play of musical contrasts, with solemn unison passages that are reminiscent of Gregorian chant alternating with four-part melismatic sections and thus adequately following the work's textual content. A really 'groovy' piece of music!Anyone who likes refined rhythms, razor-sharp articulation, lively melismata, and high soprano notes will certainly be in for a treat with the sacred choral composition Cantate Domino by Pascal Martiné. Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.856166 By Miley Cyrus. By Robert Hazard. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Pop. Octavo. 5 pages. Liz Garnett #3868607. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856166). This song was originally written and recorded in 1979 by Robert Hazard, who presented it from a male point of view, but it was made famous by Cyndi Lauper in 1983/4. Lauper tweaked the lyrics to turn it into a celebration of both female pleasure and female autonomy, and in doing so overturned the stereotypes of feminism of the era - becoming the voice of girl power for the generation before the Spice Girls.Lauper has reworked the song into two subsequent versions, but this arrangement is based firmly on the 1980s version. It was written for a series of one-day workshops, and so was designed to combine musical interest for people spending a whole day singing it with ease of learning to allow participants to focus on performance elements beyond the notes. The arrangement is notated in the traditional clefs for women's barbershop: treble and bass alta (i.e. sung an octave higher than written).Vocal Ranges:Tenor: E4 – E5Lead: A3 – C#4Bari: A3- B4Bass: E3 – E4www.HelpingYouHarmonise.com
