How Insensitive is one of the most beautiful bossa novas from the Jobim songbook, and a favorite of mine.  If you have an SSAA vocal jazz group, or just want to feature those voices on a chart, please look at the sample score pages! The arrangement begins with an arpeggiated vocal effect. Your most evocative soloist has the first first verse, accompanied by the Greek chorus of the other voices. After the solo section (for vocal or instrumental, tasty backgrounds included!) and a cool modulation, all the elements come together once again for the final verse, which features an airy soprano solo. In addition to the vocal score, parts for piano/guitar (with sample voicings included). bass, and drums, are included. This chart will allow your singers to shine, and also serve as a beautiful change of pace for your concert and festival performances.

From Justin Timberlake's album Justified, this song makes an obvious reference to the 1950s ballad of the same title. Whilst it contains a similar emotional theme, the narrative that unfolds is quite different, as are the musical gestures of popular music 50 years on from the older song. The arrangement borrows a lot of the motifs from Timberlake's recording and weaves them into a texture that develops in complexity until the very end where it dissolves back into nothing.
