SSAA choir unaccompanied - Moderately Difficult - Digital Download SKU: MQ.7351-E Composed by Steven Sametz. Wedding. 8 pages. Duration 2 minutes, 30 seconds. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #7351-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.7351-E). Spanish.Set to the poetry of the 16th-century Spanish Carmelite priest, San Juan de la Cruz (St. John of the Cross,) this piece (and its companion, 7350) can appear to be a secular love song. But it is actually religious allegory in which the Soul is singing to God. He is strong and magnificent as a mountain; comforting as the cool, shady woods; filled with unexpected delights like an exotic island; possesses her powerfully like a roaring river; thrills her with a touch like a breeze on the skin; fills her and satisfies her like a delicious meal; opens her eyes to the unexpected, like the dawn. As they rest together in the tranquil night, the soul delights in these feelings like being filled with glorious music that can truly be heard only in silence. In that moment, we are given a luxurious silence, surrounded by gorgeous music, in which we, too, may simply breathe, delight and rest in the presence of Love.Duration: 2:30.

SSAA choir unaccompanied - Moderately Difficult - Digital Download SKU: MQ.7350-E Composed by Steven Sametz. 4 pages. Duration 2 minutes, 30 seconds. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #7350-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.7350-E). Spanish.Set to the poetry of the 16th-century Spanish Carmelite priest, San Juan de la Cruz, this piece (and its companion, 7351) can read as secular love songs. Actually, however, they are religious allegory. Luz y amor (Light and Love) appears to be about a solitary bird, but contains five pieces of advice for those seeking a deeper relationship with God: always be aware of God’s presence; strip away everything that is not God; be open and listen for the voice of the Holy One; let go of your own ambitions and attachments; and sing sweetly of the delight of Love. Duration: 2:30.

Choral Choir,Choral (SSAA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1348027 Composed by Bill Cogswell, Johnny Noble, and Tommy Harrison. Arranged by Anastasio Rossi. A Cappella,Barbershop. 3 pages. Anastasio Rossi #932834. Published by Anastasio Rossi (A0.1348027). Perhaps one of the most popular songs about Hawaii. The Hawaiian music craze  began at the Hawaiian Pavilion at San Francisco's Panama–Pacific International Exposition in 1915. The  music craze was responsible for the the biggest sale of ukeleles in history. Sears Roebuck bought the  Harmony guitar company to make ukuleles and cashed in on the craze. It has been has been covered  dozens of times by celebrity artists world wide, and has been heard in many movies and television shows.  It has been called one of the 50 Greatest Songs of Hawaii.  The little grass shack of the title does not refer to a real location. The popularity of the song led  to the opening of a gift shop in Kona called The Little Grass Shack. The song was so popular that  soldiers stationed in Hawaii during World War II who were not allowed to write letters home,   instead sent photographs of themselves in front of the gift shack, to let their families know where  they were!  To keep it gender appropriate, female singers may wish to sing and I miss my Island boy at measures 30, 31.  Learning and accompaniment tracks are availabel free from the arranger at AAR@prodigy.netRay Conniff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIqbH8P3UsU  Hawaiian gals dancing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBetidGgdSw.

Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1259757 By Pentatonix. By Johan Carlsson, Johan Jens Erik Carlsson, John Bellion, Jon Bellion, Jonathan David Bellion, Kevin Olusola, Kristin Maldonado, Mark Williams, Matt Sallee, Matthew Sallee, Mitchell Grassi, Raul Cubina, Ross Golan, Scott Hoying, Sean Meier, and Sean Myer. Arranged by Karen Wilson. 21st Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Pop. Octavo. 10 pages. Karen Wilson #853033. Published by Karen Wilson (A0.1259757). This is a fabulous song by Pentatonix which I have arranged for four-part (SSAA) a cappella voices, although sometimes the voice parts split.  It can be sung with or without the body percussion as I know it's sometimes difficult to do both at the same time!Whilst in the original Pentatonix song, Scott Hoying has most of the solos, I have arranged this so that all voices get the chance to sing the main melody.  The bass part is not the most interesting(!) as the whole song is built over a repeating two-bar phrase (four chords).  However, in this arrangement, I have managed to give them the main melody at bar 30 and at bar 61 they are the only voice-part to sing Mitch's parting tune - it's the basses' time to shine!I have two versions of this song available.  The other version (Product Number 1355563) is easier to sing.  If you want a challenge, this is the version you should try!  It's as close as I could get to the original.
