The song is as sunny as its title would suggest, with a gentle swing in the rhythm and a melodic contour that almost traces the shape of a smile. The arrangement is primarily homophonic, and whilst it has a few more added 6th chords than you'd find in traditional barbershop, it clearly has its roots in that idiom. The second pass through the chorus shares the melody around so that everybody gets some candy. N.B.
