Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924080 Composed by Dominic McGonigal. Contemporary. Octavo. 4 pages. C8 Music #5988631. Published by C8 Music (A0.924080). This song is about a miracle. Liam was born in December 2018 and was without oxygen for fifteen minutes. Normally, that is fatal. In Liam's case, he lived but he had no sight, no hearing, no touch and no brain activity. He was given days to live and his parents took him home to talk to him, sing to him, be with him in his first and last few days. Days passed and Liam didn't die. Day by day, his face lit up, he could see, he could hear, he could feel and his brain came alive. Now he is a happy toddler, with an innocent smile and a miraculous radiance. 2'30. www.dominic.mcgonigal.com

Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1220892 Composed by Alan Bergman, Marilyn Bergman, and Michel Legrand. Arranged by Jenny Mills. 20th Century,A Cappella,Barbershop,Jazz,Standards. Octavo. 4 pages. LABBS - Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers #817229. Published by LABBS - Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (A0.1220892). This arrangement of this beautiful jazz ballad was commissioned from the late Jenny Mills by a LABBS barbershop chorus, inspired specifically by the recording by Clare Teal.Previously licensed for that chorus only, Jen's partner has now donated this arrangement to LABBS for publication on SMP, so that more SSAA a cappella groups can experience singing this beautiful ballad arranged in super-close harmony, with a beautiful romantic message suitable for shows, weddings, engagements and any time. This arrangement is NOT suitable for barbershop contests, due to many of the chords used having gorgeously evocative semitone intervals within them, which is considered too dissonant for the style.  They are nevertheless extremely appropriate and laden with emotion for a show performance, by a group who can handle the tuning of these unusual (to barbershop) chords. To hear the version by Clare Teal that inspired this arrangement, search on YouTube for her recording from her album Don't Talk. A sample recording of the arrangement being sung by the commissioning chorus will follow soon.
