Cilla Black's no. 1 hit from 1964 is an English version of an Italian song, 'Il Mio Mondo' recorded the previous year. It has a full-hearted melody, that starts out in the minor key and a lower tessitura - in this arrangement, shared between bass and lead - before soaring up into the part of the voice best suited to unalloyed declarations in the major key.
N.B. This arrangement is notated in treble and bass alta (i.e. sung an octave higher than written) clefs.
