Infelice! e tuo credevi is from Verdi's opera Ernani. This is an early work of Verdi's and true bel canto, both in period and style. Its cantabile phrases, over a simple accompaniment filling in the harmonies, will encourage the player to make his/her instrument really sing.

Si La Rigeur is from Halevy's 1835 opera La Juive (The Jewess).  It is pure bel canto in style, with beautiful, legato, cantabile phrases,. Like Sarastro's arias in Die Zauberflöte, it is full of warmth and kindly authority. I hope you will find it  rewarding to play.

In diesen heil'gen Hallen is from Mozart's Magic Flute (Die Zauberflöte). I find its long, cantabile phrases, full of Sarastro's kindly authority, so rewarding to play. I hope you do too.
