A piano score is included for the purpose of playing parts for rehearsal. The hymn was written in 1900 and was discovered in a very old hymnal. It is a deeply moving love song about Jesus. While being suitable for an Old-Fashioned Sunday promotion, it is beautiful and meaningful anytime. Performance Notes: 1. Vocal intro should be omitted unless planned for a nostalgic effect. 2. The first verse may be sung in unison, in lieu of a soloist.
