Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1205486 By Toto. By David Paich and Jeff Porcaro. Arranged by Matt Finch. Pop. Octavo. 7 pages. Matt FINCH #803683. Published by Matt FINCH (A0.1205486). This SSA Arrangement also works well with lower voices doubling up the parts.Ā  Everyone gets a tune at some point!(It was orgininally written for 3 mixed voice parts for the pub).Ā  The youtube link is a Good Afternoon Choir singing with mixed voices.Ā  It's a crowd pleaser as they can all join in the repeats at the end, and hand clapping on the off beat etc.Ā  The 2nd verse lyrics are quite complex, so I have purposely just repeated the verse 1 - however, please do add the correct lyrics for verse 2 if you have the time and are up for the challenge!

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.768516 Composed by Camille Saint-Saens. Arranged by Roar Kvam. Christian,Christmas,Romantic Period. Octavo. 144 pages. KVAMusic Edition #6078593. Published by KVAMusic Edition (A0.768516). Charles-Camille Saint-SaĆ«ns (9 October 1835-16 December 1921) was a French composer, organist, conductor and pianist. He was a musical prodigy and made his concert debut at the age of ten. After studying at the Paris Conservatoire he followed a conventional career as a church organist, first at Saint-Merri, Paris and, from 1858, La Madeleine, the official church of the French Empire. After leaving the post twenty years later, he was a successful freelance pianist and composer, in demand in Europe and the Americas. As a young man, Saint-SaĆ«ns was enthusiastic for the most modern music of the day, particularly that of Schumann, Liszt and Wagner, although his own compositions were generally within a conventional classical tradition. He was a scholar of musical history, and remained committed to the structures worked out by earlier French composers. This brought him into conflict in his later years with composers of the impressionist and dodecaphonic schools of music; although there were neoclassical elements in his music, foreshadowing works by Stravinsky and Les Six, he was often regarded as a reactionary in the decades around the time of his death. He wrote the Oratorio de NoĆ«l (Christmas Oratorio) at the end of the 1850s and completed it in 1860. The first performanse was at the church La Madeleine in Paris December 1869. The work is dedicated to A Madame la Vicomtesse de Grandval. The work is originally scored for five soloists, soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor and baritone, mixed choir (except no. 4 which is for SSAA), harp, organ and strings (in this edition the choir has been transcribed for a SSAA choir). Texts in the Oratorio de NoĆ«l is drawn from the Old and New Testaments: (1. Instrumental).    2. Luke 2,8-14.   3. Psalm 39,1.   4. John 11.27.   5. Psalm 117, 26-28.   6. Psalm 2,1 and Gloria Patri.   7. Psalm 109,3 and Graduale.   8. Isaiah 49,13.   9. Lamentations 2,19, Mica 4.13, Zachary 9,9, Isaiah 62,1.   10. Psalm 95,8-9, 11,13.

Choral Choir,Choral (SAB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1399666 Composed by Elvina M. Hall/John T' Grape. Arranged by Richard K. Austin. 19th Century,A Cappella,Christian,Sacred. 7 pages. Richard K. Austin #982941. Published by Richard K. Austin (A0.1399666). In order to expose my small church choir to the joys of a cappella singing, I wrote this SAB arrangement with parts that are very singable and easy to learn. The first verse is in octaves/unison to allow the performers to get a confident start before breaking into three parts in the refrain. Verse two features the baritones carrying the melody, accompanied by gentle harmony in the other two parts. The sopranos have the tune in the third verse, while the altos and baritones echo them with an underlying harmonized canon. The final verse has a simple soprano descant over the melody in the lower voices. After a strong build in the final refrain, the piece ends gently. This arrangement is a reachable challenge for a small a cappella choir.

Choral Choir (SSA) - Digital Download SKU: A0.780534 Composed by Traditional English Carol. Arranged by Cathy Stamegna. Christmas,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Traditional. Octavo. 7 pages. Cathy Stamegna #4990861. Published by Cathy Stamegna (A0.780534). God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen with changing meters (SSA Choir, Chords, Piano Acc.) begins with the traditional 4/4 and changes meters to 3/4 and 5/4.  Major and minor seventh chords add to the twist of this English carol.  The use of the comma after Merry is stressed with a rest to add meaning to the lyrics.  Use the chord symbols to add a bass guitar and/or a pitched percussion instrument - a powerful and haunting addition(s) to your performance.  Other vocal and instrumental arrangements available.
