Choral Choir (SAT) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.993094 Composed by Kat Felicis Ioco. 20th Century,A Cappella,Classical,Contemporary,Contest,Festival. Octavo. 4 pages. Kat Felicis Ioco Productions LLC #4331315. Published by Kat Felicis Ioco Productions LLC (A0.993094). The River of Life and Death (SAT divisi with solo) evokes the textures and moods of water, which plays a significant role in many cultures and religions due to its dual status of both life-bringer and destroyer. Lasting approximately one and a half minutes (~1:30 min.), The River of Life and Death has three sections and ever-shifting tonality with a modal quality. The wordless text is written in IPA. While scored as SAT, all-female groups with strong low altos can perform it. It is appropriate for a wide variety of contexts, including concerts.

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1019532 Composed by Peter Petrack. Contemporary. Octavo. 12 pages. Distributed by The Wayfarer Partnership, LLC. #3516449. Published by Distributed by The Wayfarer Partnership, LLC. (A0.1019532). Season of Ice is a choral piece for womens’ voices, accompanied by bells and percussion, based on an English translation of Winter, a 9th Century Gaelic poem. At that time, it was common practice for communities in Celtic Ireland to make specific declarations regarding important events such as births, deaths, political and religious occasions, as well as seasonal changes. This song imagines a somber announcement anticipating the arrival of the winter months.

Choral Choir,Choral (SAB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1397950 Composed by John Ross. Christian,Religious,Sacred. 6 pages. John Ross #981223. Published by John Ross (A0.1397950). When Richard of Chichester (1197-1253) was elected bishop in 1244 King Henry III refused to accept the appointment, favouring another candidate. The king even forbade anyone to house or feed Richard. However, Pope Innocent IV confirmed the appointment, and Richard became Bishop of Chichester in 1245. He was keen to restore order and reverence in the church and was known as an ascetic, displaying frugality and temperance throughout his life. On his deathbed he is said to have recited the prayer for which he is now very well known, Thanks be to Thee, my Lord Jesus Christ. These words became famous after their use in the song Day by day from Stephen Schwartz's musical Godspell (1971).

Choral Choir (SAB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.922168 Composed by Jane Dang. Christian,Contemporary,Easter. Octavo. 10 pages. Jane Dang #5372953. Published by Jane Dang (A0.922168). An easy choir piece for Easter! What is the difference between my God and Buddha? What makes my atheistic friends believe Jesus is God? Jesus is not dead like all the other gods! His resurrection, the evidence of His victory over the power of sin, gives the unbeliever hope of eternal life and the believer hope of glorification. All the toils and loss of this life can turn to abundant joy if we choose to meditate on the truth that Christ lives in our heart. And isn’t it true that the only right response to Christ’s resurrection is to give your life as a living sacrifice to Him every moment?Slowly they traveled to the tomb. Grief hangs as black as deepest night. They have come to mourn Jesus’s death; But the dark is shattered by light!   Chorus: Jesus lives what a glorious day! Jesus lives why do you still weep? God is here! Christ arose, and He dwells with you. Give your life to honor His name!   Death claims a soldier of the cross. Don’t weep as though it were the end. Comfort draws from words filled with hope. You will meet your loved ones again.   Christ will return in glorious light. Angels and men will join to sing. All our griefs are slain by delight. When the Lord is crowned as our King.

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.768519 Composed by Giacomo Puccini. Arranged by Roar Kvam. Christian,Romantic Period,Sacred. Octavo. 15 pages. KVAMusic Edition #6082661. Published by KVAMusic Edition (A0.768519). This short Requiem by Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924) was commissioned by the publisher Giulio Ricordi, who wanted to mark the fourth anniversary (27 January 1905) of the death of Verdi by celebrating the memory of the King of 19th century Italian opera with a work composed by his successor on the opera stages of the world. According to a note by the composer on the first page of the manuscript, the piece was completed on 14 January 1905 in Milan and thus it belongs to the period in which the composer from Lucca had reached his full maturity, at a point in time between the fiasco of the premiere of Madama Butterfly at La Scala, Milan (1904) and the premiere of his next opera, La Fanciulla del West (1910).Today the work is often performed, since this setting for three voices can be easily performed by amateur choirs and requires only a viola (or violin) and a harmonium (or organ) as accompanying instruments. Our edition is for treble- or female voices choir, viola (violin) and harmonium (organ).

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.768516 Composed by Camille Saint-Saens. Arranged by Roar Kvam. Christian,Christmas,Romantic Period. Octavo. 144 pages. KVAMusic Edition #6078593. Published by KVAMusic Edition (A0.768516). Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns (9 October 1835-16 December 1921) was a French composer, organist, conductor and pianist. He was a musical prodigy and made his concert debut at the age of ten. After studying at the Paris Conservatoire he followed a conventional career as a church organist, first at Saint-Merri, Paris and, from 1858, La Madeleine, the official church of the French Empire. After leaving the post twenty years later, he was a successful freelance pianist and composer, in demand in Europe and the Americas. As a young man, Saint-Saëns was enthusiastic for the most modern music of the day, particularly that of Schumann, Liszt and Wagner, although his own compositions were generally within a conventional classical tradition. He was a scholar of musical history, and remained committed to the structures worked out by earlier French composers. This brought him into conflict in his later years with composers of the impressionist and dodecaphonic schools of music; although there were neoclassical elements in his music, foreshadowing works by Stravinsky and Les Six, he was often regarded as a reactionary in the decades around the time of his death. He wrote the Oratorio de Noël (Christmas Oratorio) at the end of the 1850s and completed it in 1860. The first performanse was at the church La Madeleine in Paris December 1869. The work is dedicated to A Madame la Vicomtesse de Grandval. The work is originally scored for five soloists, soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor and baritone, mixed choir (except no. 4 which is for SSAA), harp, organ and strings (in this edition the choir has been transcribed for a SSAA choir). Texts in the Oratorio de Noël is drawn from the Old and New Testaments: (1. Instrumental).    2. Luke 2,8-14.   3. Psalm 39,1.   4. John 11.27.   5. Psalm 117, 26-28.   6. Psalm 2,1 and Gloria Patri.   7. Psalm 109,3 and Graduale.   8. Isaiah 49,13.   9. Lamentations 2,19, Mica 4.13, Zachary 9,9, Isaiah 62,1.   10. Psalm 95,8-9, 11,13.
