Kat Felicis Ioco Productions LLC #4331315. Published by Kat Felicis Ioco Productions LLC (A0.993094). The River of Life and Death (SAT divisi with solo) evokes the textures and moods of water, which plays a significant role in many cultures and religions due to its dual status of both life-bringer and destroyer. Lasting approximately one and a half minutes (~1:30 min.), The River of Life and Death has three sections and ever-shifting tonality with a modal quality. The wordless text is written in IPA. While scored as SAT, all-female groups with strong low altos can perform it. It is appropriate for a wide variety of contexts, including concerts.

Choral Choir,Choral (SAB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1397950 Composed by John Ross. Christian,Religious,Sacred. 6 pages. John Ross #981223. Published by John Ross (A0.1397950). When Richard of Chichester (1197-1253) was elected bishop in 1244 King Henry III refused to accept the appointment, favouring another candidate. The king even forbade anyone to house or feed Richard. However, Pope Innocent IV confirmed the appointment, and Richard became Bishop of Chichester in 1245. He was keen to restore order and reverence in the church and was known as an ascetic, displaying frugality and temperance throughout his life. On his deathbed he is said to have recited the prayer for which he is now very well known, Thanks be to Thee, my Lord Jesus Christ. These words became famous after their use in the song Day by day from Stephen Schwartz's musical Godspell (1971).

Published by Distributed by The Wayfarer Partnership, LLC. (A0.1019532). Season of Ice is a choral piece for womens’ voices, accompanied by bells and percussion, based on an English translation of Winter, a 9th Century Gaelic poem. At that time, it was common practice for communities in Celtic Ireland to make specific declarations regarding important events such as births, deaths, political and religious occasions, as well as seasonal changes. This song imagines a somber announcement anticipating the arrival of the winter months.

Choral Choir (SAB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.922168 Composed by Jane Dang. Christian,Contemporary,Easter. Octavo. 10 pages. Jane Dang #5372953. Published by Jane Dang (A0.922168). An easy choir piece for Easter! What is the difference between my God and Buddha? What makes my atheistic friends believe Jesus is God? Jesus is not dead like all the other gods! His resurrection, the evidence of His victory over the power of sin, gives the unbeliever hope of eternal life and the believer hope of glorification. All the toils and loss of this life can turn to abundant joy if we choose to meditate on the truth that Christ lives in our heart. And isn’t it true that the only right response to Christ’s resurrection is to give your life as a living sacrifice to Him every moment?Slowly they traveled to the tomb. Grief hangs as black as deepest night. They have come to mourn Jesus’s death; But the dark is shattered by light!   Chorus: Jesus lives what a glorious day! Jesus lives why do you still weep? God is here! Christ arose, and He dwells with you. Give your life to honor His name!   Death claims a soldier of the cross. Don’t weep as though it were the end. Comfort draws from words filled with hope. You will meet your loved ones again.   Christ will return in glorious light. Angels and men will join to sing. All our griefs are slain by delight. When the Lord is crowned as our King.

Choral Choir (SAB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.730914 Composed by Latin American Folk Song. Arranged by Sarah Martinez. Children,Folk,Multicultural,Traditional,World. Octavo. 4 pages. Sarah Martinez #339170. Published by Sarah Martinez (A0.730914). This arrangement of Alfonso XII has been adapted for SAB chorus (with optional divisi) and set to a piano accompaniment. This song tells a story about Alfonso XII, King of Spain from December 1874 until his death in November 1885. It is a song tale known in many Latin American countries. As is typical of folk songs, there are many popular variations and additional verses. Where are you going, Alfonso XII? Where are you going so sadly? I am looking for Mercedes because I lost her yesterday. Mercedes is already dead, and it's true because I saw her. Four dukes carried her through the streets of Madrid. The lanterns of the castle no longer want to light, Because Mercedes has died, and they are in mourning. Poor little Mercedes, she died like a flower. Similar arrangements for SATB, TB, 2-part, and unison choirs are also available. You may also find this song under the alternate title ¿Dónde vas, Alfonso Doce?.

SSA choir and piano - Moderately Easy - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8227-E Composed by Gwyneth W. Walker. Secular, 21st century. Instrument part. 16 pages. Duration 4 minutes, 30 seconds. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8227-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8227-E). English.A very poignant song. Phrases such as Hush little baby, don’t you cry, you know your mama was born to die, or Oh my brothers, I must leave you here behind, view the approach of death in terms of those left behind. The accompaniment of repeated 8th-note chords is marked as if trembling or sobbing. Although the harmonic language is tonal and consonant almost entirely throughout the song, a few dissonances appear near the end, reflecting the pain of parting. Duration: 4:30.

Choral Choir (SAB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1127905 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Philip Le Bas. Christmas,Easter,Sacred,Traditional. Octavo. 57 pages. Philip Le Bas #728514. Published by Philip Le Bas (A0.1127905). A new setting by Philip Le Bas of the ancient carol The Seven Joys of Mary (or Joys Seven, or a variety of other possible titles.) This version includes easy accompaniment parts for flute, clarinet, horn, bassoon and piano. Since medieval times the number of Joys of Mary has varied between five, seven, ten and twelve, but the the current number of seven has become popular, especially since the basic harmonization of R.R. Terry published in 1833 and the contemporary version for 8-part choir by Stephen Cleobury in the OUP's Carols for Choirs series. (A history of the carol can be found in the New Oxford Book of Carols, edited by H Keyte and A Parrott, p.462f.) The version presented here is kept relatively simple to perform, being scored only for a three-part choir (SABar - soprano, alto, baritone) and piano, but with plenty of interest including changes in voicing, changes of rhythm (especially verse 6) and two key changes. The arranger hopes performers and listeners will find it energetic and fun! It should certainly be sung in that spirit! Although often associated with Christmas, it could in fact be performed in any season, including Easter, referring as it does to the whole life, death and resurrection of Christ.
