This arrangement was written for a chorus of young women, and as such the ranges are relatively narrow. It is suitable for middle school / high school groups (although might be better sung in G than F for particularly young voices), with a positive, self-empowering message.  Vocal ranges are:Tenor (S1): F4 - D5 (F above middle C to D above high C)Lead (S2): A3 - D5 (A below middle C to D above high C) - However, until the last two bars, the lowest note is a middle C. Snoopy's Christmas - Choral Arrangement for SSA and Piano by Michael Thomas CoullA follow-up to The Royal Guardsmen's earlier hit Snoopy vs. the Red Baron, the 1967 hit Snoopy's Christmas is a fictional account of how Snoopy was directed to go out and fight the Red Baron on a bitterly cold Christmas Eve.  The Baron has Snoopy at his mercy after a long dogfight, but instead of shooting him down he forces Snoopy to land and offers Snoopy a chivalrous holiday toast.  Afterward, Snoopy and the Red Baron fly their separate ways, 'each knowing they'd meet on some other day'.The song begins with a chorus singing O Tannenbaum.  The middle of the song is bridged by chimes ringing out a phrase from Hark the Herald Angels Sing.  And the song also references the 1914 Christmas Truce of World War I which was initiated not by German and British commanders, but by the soldiers themselves in the trenches.This arrangement of Snoopy's Christmas for SSA and piano accompaniment is a great song to sing at any choirs end of year holiday concert.  A classic Christmas song that is always a crowd favourite!

Señora chichera is a popular Bolivian tinku that has catchy syncopation, raucous stomps, and lyrics in Spanish and Quechua, the language of the Incas. The verse in Quechua is curiously not a translation of the Spanish verse. The alcoholic drink mentioned in the song is chicha, a fermented corn drink enjoyed in the Andes for many centuries. This arrangement for mixed chorus and piano celebrates the song's tradition while exploring some typical Andean parallel harmonies that would horrify J. S. Bach.
