Cantata for Baritone solo (doubling as narrator), SAB choir, trumpet and piano.

Based on the novel by Charles Dickens, this concert work tells the much loved story of Ebeneezer Scrooge. It uses mostly original text and is perfect for a concert piece at Christmas. The choral parts are very easy and can be performed by as few as 5-6 choristers. It is also available for download as the same piece scored for string quartet and percussion accompaniment .

This lovely, lyrical song about London UK, is arranged for solo voice, TTB and piano. The song is 4'40 and is a great opportunity for a male voice choir to provide the backing vocals for a soloist, which provides variety in any programme.
Waterloo Sunset is a song by British rock band the Kinks. It was released as a single in 1967, and featured on their album Something Else . Composed and produced by Kinks frontman Ray Davies, the song tells the story of a lone narrator imagining two lovers passing over a bridge with the narrator reflecting on the couple.

The Owl and the Pussycat is a nonsense poem written by Edward Lear in 1870. It takes me back to my late teens and early twenties when I would recite this poem with my 2 sisters. They would take the parts of the Narrator, the Owl, and the Pussycat. That would leave me with two words, the most important line in the poem, the Piggy-wig's line I will. Without this one line, the goal of the poem cannot be achieved - the marriage between the Owl and the Pussycat.

Since this is a nonsense poem, the tempo and dynamic variations can be exaggerated to bring out the humor in the text. This setting is most ideal for an ensemble of soloists, but it could also be performed by an SAB choir with soloists for the parts of the Owl, the Pussycat, and the Piggy-wig. Happy singing!
