Learning to hear and navigate these basic Sol-to-Sol tonal relationships is a vital step for students learning to sight-sing using the solfege system. Here is a warm-up exercise of a Sol-to-Sol melody traversing keys having one to three sharps or flats. There are several typical Re-Ti-Do cadential gestures and a few simple skips.
