As a veteran teacher of 19 years, he has enjoyed the opportunity of teaching at both the Middle and High School levels and composing for all of his groups. He also serves as the Minister of Music of Children at the Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain. He obtained his Bachelors of Music Education degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and his Masters of Music Education degree in Choral Conducting from Georgia College and State University. His other musical achievements include arranging music for the 1996 Closing Ceremonies for the Summer Olympics and for the grand champion of the Savannah Onstage National Singing Competition. He has worked as music director for several musicals, which include The Wiz, Annie, Oliver, Anne of Green Gables, Rent, and several others.
