SAB choir, Piano (With Optional Full Orchestra) - Digital Download SKU: LX.55-1097L Royal Servant...Rejected Friend...Risen Christ!. Composed by Joseph M Martin and Lloyd Larson. Choral Cantatas. Easter, Lent. 92 pages. Exaltation Publications #e55/1097L. Published by Exaltation Publications (LX.55-1097L). ISBN 9780893282226. UPC: 000308106893.Those who witnessed the life and ministry of Jesus were consistently mixed in their verdicts about who He was. Many claimed Him to be the long-awaited Messiah while others claimed Him a fraud. Some accepted that He came bearing messages of peace and love while others were looking for a king who would conquer with power and might. Confusion surrounded even Christ's most devoted followers in His final days when He was rejected and crucifed...only to be followed by the unprecedented events of the resurrection, resulting in a compelling affirmation: This was indeed the King of all kings! Lloyd Larson and Joseph M. Martin combine their extensive writing experiences and talents to provide a distinctive and inspired look at the ministry and final days of Jesus' life. Creative choral settings, utilizing both new and familiar melodies and texts, make this a worthy selection for the Lenten season. Most of the anthems may also be used individually throughout the Lenten season.

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.768519 Composed by Giacomo Puccini. Arranged by Roar Kvam. Christian,Romantic Period,Sacred. Octavo. 15 pages. KVAMusic Edition #6082661. Published by KVAMusic Edition (A0.768519). This short Requiem by Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924) was commissioned by the publisher Giulio Ricordi, who wanted to mark the fourth anniversary (27 January 1905) of the death of Verdi by celebrating the memory of the King of 19th century Italian opera with a work composed by his successor on the opera stages of the world. According to a note by the composer on the first page of the manuscript, the piece was completed on 14 January 1905 in Milan and thus it belongs to the period in which the composer from Lucca had reached his full maturity, at a point in time between the fiasco of the premiere of Madama Butterfly at La Scala, Milan (1904) and the premiere of his next opera, La Fanciulla del West (1910).Today the work is often performed, since this setting for three voices can be easily performed by amateur choirs and requires only a viola (or violin) and a harmonium (or organ) as accompanying instruments. Our edition is for treble- or female voices choir, viola (violin) and harmonium (organ).
