Originally written for an international conference on the theme of 'Women and the Canon', My Voice is a melodic polyphonic work for female voices exploring the themes of gender, voice and authority. The song is founded on a recurring musical theme that builds in strength and visibility as the work progresses. The work is written in three parts (SSA) with divisi scoring within each part and short solo lines. It can be performed by an ensemble of six voices or by a larger female chorus.

This version of Wine and Water (based on the satirical poem by G.K. Chesterton about Noah and his drinking habits) is written for three part men's choir (or three soloists) (Alto Tenor Bass).
