The music for HE HIDETH MY SOUL was composed by Willaim J. Kirkpatrick and coupled with lyrics by Fannie Crosby in the latter part of the 19th Century in the United States, and it is still sung by Protestant congregations and choirs today. This arrangement is for an EASY INTERMEDIATE SAB (soprano, alto, baritone) CHOIR with piano accompaniment. In keeping with the lyrics, it ends with a musical illusion to Rock of Ages (Hastings). This arrangement includes musical cues for the choir and for solos or duets as well.
