Choral Choir (SAA) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.518763 By Dave Matthews Band. By David Matthews. Arranged by Alandra Blume and Jeffrey Brannon. A Cappella,Contemporary. Octavo. 11 pages. Jeffrey Brannon #129471. Published by Jeffrey Brannon (A0.518763). Choral arrangement of Singing From The Windows by David J. Matthews, for three-part women's ensemble. In the early months of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused lockdowns worldwide, including in the country of Italy. During this time of fear and social isolation, Italians still made music together, singing from their windows and playing instruments from their balconies. Inspired by their resilience, Dave Matthews wrote this tribute, which was first performed via livestream in March of 2020. In this a cappella arrangement, ideal for both rote learning and sight-reading, each voice part sings a section of the melody, while the lowest harmony also provides an ostinato. Arrangement is in the original Key of B and is also available in the Key of C upon request.

Choral Choir (SAB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.923199 Composed by Denny Glasscock. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 8 pages. Denny Glasscock #6054113. Published by Denny Glasscock (A0.923199). A new and different rendition of a very old and beloved christian hymn. After an instrumental introduction, based on the refrain from the original hymn by Robert Lowry (1864), the newly composed verses begin with a musical theme meant to represent flowing water in a rippling river or stream. The original lyrics are adapted for all five verses and the refrain. The first verse is followed by the refrain, adapted from the original hymn. After that the refrain follows verses 3 and 5. The song ends on the final refrain, as the tempo slows and the flowing water theme ends. The vocals start out unison, but quickly divide out to SAB parts, all in a comfortable range. The melody in the verses shifts from soprano to alto, just before it gets too low for some sopranos. However altos or baritones could probably sing the melody, as the highest notes are likely still contained within their upper range. Thus the piece could be performed as a solo for altos or baritones. Though the melody shifts, a bit, from soprano to alto, it is easily heard in continuity. Thus, intuitively, the audience, or congregation, will clearly hear the melody, and be easily able to sing along. The score provided here, contains the SAB parts and piano (with chord symbols). As you listen to the example provided, you will hear a string trio playing in the accompaniment, along with the piano. The violin, viola and violoncello adds a nice dimension to the accompaniment sound. An accompaniment track is also available under item no. S0.870603. Denny Glasscock (Lyrics and Refrain adapted from Original Hymn by Robert Lowry, 1864).

SSA choir unaccompanied - Moderately Easy - Digital Download SKU: MQ.1.3602-E Composed by Philip Reed. 18 pages. Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital #1.3602-E. Published by Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital (MQ.1.3602-E). Japanese. These texts are taken from the Kokin Wakashū, a collection of Japanese waka poetry compiled from various poets in the early tenth century. They show the passing of the season from the first buds hidden beneath the snow to the last petals washing downstream. The simple melodies and clear textures attempt to capture the poets’ graceful blending of vivid natural imagery and piercing emotional perception as the sights and sounds of spring are made to express the bittersweetness of our brief existence.

Choral Choir (3-Part) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1218171 By Margery McKay. By Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Stewart J Wallace. Broadway,Christian,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show,Standards. Octavo. 8 pages. Stewart J Wallace #814664. Published by Stewart J Wallace (A0.1218171). This famous song from Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1959 musical The Sound of Music is both well-known and inspirational, like You'll Never Walk Alone from Carousel. Oscar Hammerstein II felt that the imagery of climbing mountains and fording streams suited Maria's character, as she seeks to find her own spiritual pathway and ultimately an escape to freedom with the von Trapp family. The singing needs to be strong and uplifting too - notice how the opening melody returns in the final section transposed to a higher key. This 3-part arrangement would suit church, school and amateur choirs and the piano accompaniment supports the voices throughout. There are two layout versions - one with the piano and one with just the vocal parts.
