ALL HARPS LOWER INTERMEDIATE - A lovely and lilting melody in 3/4.  Can be played on a 26-string harp. Listen to the delightful sound sample below.The range of the LH goes to the D which is almost 2 octaves below middle C.  The LH accompaniment is mostly root fifth root in various combinations of broken chords and rolled block chords.  The RH  is generally one note at a time with some parallel thirds and a few first inversion G chords.  There is a lovely minor section at the top of the third page.  The sound sample starts there.  In short, a very pleasant melody to be enjoyed by both player and listener, appropriate for many settings.Key of G, 3 pages.  Can be played on a 26-string harp going to C.

There are many repeating patterns for the left and right hands, making it a lot easier to play than it may first appear. In the middle contrasting section, the melody and accompaniment are more distinct, separated by the right and left hands. The final section combines the first and middle sections. Key of F, some large chords, lowest note is the F (#33 on ost 36-string harps), no accidentals. This selection was featured in a short film, The Harpist.

Can be played at a variety of tempos, although marked dotted quarter note equals 70. The piece incorporates accents, and pdlt.

Key of G, a relaxed 6/8 piece with grace notes, a glissando, and harmonic. Extra harmony is thrown into the melody here and there to add more texture, along with some rolled chords. Left hand does the typical octave and open fifth accompaniment on beats one and four. Great fun!

Published by Afghan Press Music for the Harp (A0.797508). A lovely and sweet melody, very soothing. In the key of Eb, two and one half pages in length. Left hand is sparse and contains mostly whole notes. Right hand has some syncopation and is mostly eighth notes, some tied to quarters or half notes. The lowest note, Eb almost two octaves below middle C, is only played once. This piece could easily be played on a 29 string harp with the lowest note being G.
