Guitar chords are included so that the melody may be played by any C instrument, accompanied by chords on harp, lute, guitar, or keyboard. However, the harper should use whatever dynamics, fingerings, and tempos suit them, no matter what this book indicates! Simply treat the C two octaves below middle C as the lowest C on your harp and adjust the octaves accordingly. Ignore any 8va indications and shorten glissandos as needed.

Lever adjustments are kept to an absolute minimum and allow the harpist enough time to stabilize the small harp while doing so without disrupting the flow of the song. The arrangement is specifically for 26-string (or larger) harps, like Rees Harpsicle (provided that your model has levers and you can play in 2 flats with a few C# accidentals), but it should also work on Dusty Strings harps, Hope Harps, Harp-E, or other small, portable harps.
