Lever Harp - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1290883 By Fkj. By Vincent Fenton. Arranged by Stephanie Claussen. 21st Century,Contemporary,Jazz,Multicultural,New Age,World. Score. 4 pages. Stephanie Claussen #881568. Published by Stephanie Claussen (A0.1290883). I arranged this short version of Ylang Ylang for a harp student of mine. The chromaticism of the piece called for some tricky lever solutions but I managed to create an arrangement that has no lever changes. Your harp needs to be tuned in 3 flats and have all the levers. I don't recommend trying this version on pedal harp. I've included a page of rhythm exercises to help with some of the interesting rhythmic figures in the piece. My biggest recommendation is that you listen to the recording a lot! This piece is fun and relaxing to play and would make wonderful background music for any low-key event: a cocktail hour, a slow exercise class, getting ready for a wedding, etc.

Harp - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797438 Composed by Charles Francois Gounod. Arranged by Mitch Landy. Classical,Concert,Halloween. Score. 9 pages. Afghan Press Music for the Harp #4845569. Published by Afghan Press Music for the Harp (A0.797438). Originally a piano piece, part of a Suite Burlesque, this piece became familiar to many of us as the theme from the weekly tv show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents. It is a mock funeral march, with a contrasting heroic middle section. The only difficulty is at the end: originally too chromatic altogether, it has been rearranged, but it includes some quick and precise pedalling: C-sharp-natural-flat. This can best be managed by a staccato technique followed by a pedal slide, all in keeping with the character of the piece.

Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928333 Composed by Rory Dall. Arranged by Karen Peterson. Celtic,Contemporary,Folk. Score. 4 pages. Karen Peterson #5993785. Published by Karen Peterson (A0.928333). WATCH THE D DORIAN VERSION: You are viewing the arrangement for lap harp, which is in the key of A dorian. To hear the D dorian version played on a larger harp, go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0-Kg0LifaUOverview: This tune was published by Daniel Dow in the 1770s and was probably composed by Roderick Morison (~1656-1713). My double-strung harp arrangement in the dorian mode has rolled, echoed chords, highlighting the depth of sound we can get from having two sets of strings. The accompaniment hand traverses the entire range of the harp, often overlapping the melody hand.Key and range: A dorian (one sharp). 21x2 strings. G below middle C through F. (LARGER HARPS: For harps with C below middle C or lower, get the D dorian version here: www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/rorie-lament-for-double-strung-harp-digital-sheet-music/21815669)Lever changes: None.Good for: Performance, memorials, therapeutic settings.Double-strung effects: The LH accompaniment frequently overlaps the RH melody range. Rolled accompaniment chords often contain the same note as the melody, creating a rolled echo. Some chords that aren’t rolled have doubled notes in both hands, creating depth. The repetition of LH patterns makes this a great piece to learn overlapping hands with.Characteristics: Neither hand needs to place more than an octave spread. There are some four-note chords (always LH 1-3-5-8). The RH has almost no chords. Few of the chords are inversions. There are very few sixteenth notes; no more than three played together with one hand. The LH has two long-run patterns (1-5-8-9-10 and 1-5-8-9) which can be played with cross-unders or a wandering thumb. The RH has a few cross-overs/unders.Finger placement: Finger number suggestions are provided for key phrases. Numbers above the notes are suggestions for the RH (marked with R or R# when they occur in the bottom staff). Numbers below the notes are suggestions for the LH (marked with L or L# when they occur in the top staff).Notation: Chord symbols are provided. Treble clef is used for both staves, with 8va for very high notes. Length: 4 pages. 60 measures, plus 12 if you take the repeat. 4 minutes.Page turns: If you are printing, double-side pages 2 and 3 so that there is only one page turn. The RH can be used on all notes of page 2’s last measure, so that the LH can turn the page. If you are using single pages on a tablet, you can do something similar at the end of page 3. Page 1’s turn is manageable. Contact me after purchase if you’d like a version that fits on two pages: EnjoyTheHarp@gmail.com

Lever Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1476141 By Enya. By Enya and Roma Ryan. Arranged by Anne Crosby Gaudet. Celtic,Irish,New Age,Pop,Wedding. Score. 4 pages. Music Discoveries #1053666. Published by Music Discoveries (A0.1476141). Watermark is from the 1988 album by Irish singer and songwriter Enya. Her unique sound features multi-layered vocals and keyboards in a Celtic, ambient New Age style. This Anne Crosby Gaudet arrangement is for early intermediate lever harp. Transposed from the original F Major to G Major, the lever changes are manageable and clearly notated in the score. A slight change in the left hand accompaniment ensures that the music fits beautifully under the hands while staying true to the essence of the original song.Level: Early IntermediateThe left hand accompaniment requires good fluency with larger patterns (1-5-9-8-10) and (1-5-10-8-12). The right hand features a simple, yet expressive melodic line. There are several lever changes, which have been carefully planned and notated.Type of Harp: Best suited for lever harps with 34+ stringsLever requirements: This arrangement is in G Major with F sharps required. You will also need to pre-set a low E flat and will need a treble E flat lever change during performance. This PDF download is 3 page solo.

Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.922078 Composed by Alicia Chapple. Celtic,Children,Contemporary,Folk,New Age. Score. 2 pages. Alicia Chapple #3686725. Published by Alicia Chapple (A0.922078). An Sìdhean translates as 'The Hill of the Fairies' in Gaelic. It is inspired by an ancient story from Argyll in Scotland and tells the tale of a farmer's wife who was taken away by the 'good people' or fairies of the land. It is suitable for early intermediate players who want to work on developing some different LH running patterns whilst managing a simple melody line. There are also some brushed chords and grace notes which can be optional, although these are musical elements that are regularly used in traditional music and give that special Celtic sound.

Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808935 Composed by Vincenzo Palermo. 20th Century. Score. 16 pages. Preludio s.r.l. #5213939. Published by Preludio s.r.l. (A0.808935). The Hermes’ harp evokes suggestions from the ancient world that reflect themselves in a modern way: the image of an instrument of «thaumaturgic» properties, which is capable of vibrating wonderfully even without a performer, passing from the hands of his divine creator to other, as divine or semidivine, but always deserving, for better or worse, to start hypnotic lullabies accompanying myths now poignant, now absolutely pure. The constant rhythmic pattern that characterizes this piece takes its inspiration from the energy emanating from the magical instrument that, at the end of its cycle and even without its elected player, and thrown into the waters of a lake, still, from the bottom of these, it keeps on playing its haunting dirges.Vincenzo Palermo
