Lever Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1300726 Composed by Jean Sibelius. Arranged by Jodi Ann Tolman. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Traditional. Score. 4 pages. Jodi Ann Tolman #890481. Published by Jodi Ann Tolman (A0.1300726). This peaceful hymn with traditional melody is written simply but beautifully. The second verse contains a modification on the melody written in a higher octave, followed by a richer and fuller third verse. The theme heard in the introduction is repeated later in the piece and at the song's conclusion. This arrangement is perfect for worship services, background music, and many other occasions. This piece is playable on both pedal and lever harps. It is written in the key of F with no lever or pedal changes. Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797384 Composed by William Mahan. Concert,Latin. Score. 25 pages. Afghan Press Music for the Harp #4831473. Published by Afghan Press Music for the Harp (A0.797384). Interesting Spanish-flavored melodies. Nights of the Fiesta is eight pages in length, starting out with a short fanfare type introduction and merging into a Spanish motif. It is in the key of E minor and in triple meter. Not difficult to play, but does require good technique. There is a moving left hand, and right hand utilizes parallel thirds and quite a few repeating notes. Part Two of this suite is called The Sunken Gardens. It is in the key of A minor and goes back and forth between three and six in meter. Consisting much of single notes in both hands, some parallel thirds in the right hand and using triplets. Part Three, entitled The Old Mission, is in a meter of six with directions to play forcefully at the beginning and reverently up until the section sounding like bells ringing. B minor is the key, and this portion of Mr. Mahan's suite requires a left hand capable of a rolling 16th note accompaniment. The ending is on a peaceful D major chord. There are some repeated notes in this collection.

Harp - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.942891 Composed by James W. Knox. Contemporary,World. Score. 9 pages. Knox Music #6599795. Published by Knox Music (A0.942891). On the Lake written for advanced SSAA divisi and harp. Fannie Isabelle Sherrick was an American poet who wrote songs and poems throughout the 1860's that captured hearts and minds. I Can Not Say the Sad Good-Bye was one of her notable songs published in 1873. She was both influenced and encouraged by Ella Wheeler Wilcox who she attributed her success to. Her most popular poetry volume entitled Love or Fame and Other Poems was published in 1880 by W.S Bryan of St Louis and she continued writing for many years.  ON THE LAKE There's a beautiful lake where the sun lies low, And the skies are warm with their summer glow; And a beautiful picture there I see Where the winds are warm and the waves are free, And the waves lie still in the sun As the flowers at night, when the day is done. You may sing of your silvery seas by night When the moon looks down with a dreamy light; And the stars shine out in the skies above Like the warm sweet gaze of the eyes of love; But the glow on the lake to-day Is a glory that never will fade away. The beautiful lake is a sea of gold And the beauty it wears will never grow old; The trees bend down in the sun's warm glow Till their branches meet in the waves below, And the clouds in the far-off skies Are mirrored anew where the sunlight lies. I love to float where the shadows lie 'Neath the matchless glow of the summer sky; And I love to dream that these waves of light Will never fade in the gloomy night: But I know that the things I love Are as far from my reach as the clouds above. Oh, the beautiful lake is a sea of gold And the beauty it wears will never grow old; The cloudlets of Heaven are mirrored there In a golden splendor so bright and fair That the soul is dazzled for aye By the beautiful light of this summer's day. Oh, I love to dream when this life is o'er We shall moor our boats near the golden shore; And our sorrows shall drift from us far away As the leaves that float in their idle play, And the waves shall smile in the sun When the night is over and life is done.  Fannie Isabelle Sherrick.

Lever Harp - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1452234 By Cecile Corbel. By Cecile Corbel, Simon Caby, and Yoko Ihira. Arranged by Rachael Acheson. Celtic,Children,Film/TV,Folk,Irish,Multicultural,World. Score. 7 pages. TheHarpLibrarian #1031550. Published by TheHarpLibrarian (A0.1452234). This solo harp arrangement of Arrietty's Song from Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli's film The Secret World of Arrietty is wonderfully versatile, while preserving the key and overall character of Cecile Corbel's original piece. It can be played on a lever harp as small as 26 strings, with the lowest note being the C below middle C and the highest being the third G above middle C. It only requires one lever (the A below middle C) to be moved to effectively simulate the chorus key change. It captures both the iconic original celtic harp part, as well as the full melody (with Japanese lyrics taken into account), and also the building/shifting energy that the original piece achieved by adding additional instruments. I think it also successfully solves the problem of remaining interesting and dynamic throughout despite the song being so repetitive. In short, I am particularly proud of this arrangement. In part because it is so note-y, and because it just keeps moving with no room to rest or breathe, this is definitely one of the harder and more advanced pieces I have arranged for small/lap lever harp. It would still sound nice played under tempo, but you will need to maintain a consistent rhythm throughout. I advise practicing the left hand as blocked chords and paying particular attention to the right-hand octaves in the second rendition of the chorus. Please note that the preview cuts off after the first half-page of score. When you download your purchase, you will recieve a pdf that contains both the preview and the full score.
