Published by Fitzpatrick Media (A0.1294826). “The Mandalorian (FITZPATRICK Banjo Remix)†is a genre-defying arrangement unlike anything else for the banjo. Perfectly fitting the space-western nature of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, this arrangement will not only immerse you in a galaxy far, far away but also expand your abilities on the banjo. In this piece, you will be playing with an alternate tuning (gCGCD) that will provide a new and exciting sound to explore. Additionally, the technique of tapping (traditionally an electric guitar technique) is employed throughout the arrangement and will provide a fun challenge that will add to your versatility as a banjo player. This sheet music also comes with comprehensive performance notes that will provide valuable insight into the music. Furthermore, this arrangement is not just tablature; it also includes standard musical notation to provide a complete view of the piece. Included in this PDF are four versions of the arrangement:1. The Mandalorian (FITZPATRICK Banjo Remix) - Notation & TAB2. The Mandalorian (FITZPATRICK Banjo Remix) - TAB3. The Mandalorian Theme - Notation & TAB4. The Mandalorian Theme - TABWhile primarily focusing on the Mandalorian Theme, this arrangement also features the Dark Trooper Theme providing a cool, contrasting, and sinister sound. Banjo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1002650 By John Denver. By David Leslie Froggatt, Jane Barnes, and Johnny Marks. Arranged by Doctor JerBear. Rock. Score. 6 pages. Doctor JerBear #6658633. Published by Doctor JerBear (A0.1002650). This is an arrangement of the Christmas Classic Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer for clawhammer banjo.Although I listed as intermediate, it is really more beginner/intermediate.  It uses mostly bum ditty, hammer ons/pull offs with open strings, and some simple drop thumb patterns.  The whole song stays in the first five frets.  But I marked it as intermediate because it uses a variant of Cumberland Gap tuning, and the tempo is rather fast.  It is a great tune for learning just how much one can produce with basic clawhammer techniques in Cumberland Gap tuning.

Banjo - Beginning - Digital Download SKU: M0.93930EB Bluegrass. E-book. Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music #93930EB. Published by Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music (M0.93930EB). ISBN 9781513455426. 8.75 x 11.75 inches.Banjo Workshop was written with four important areas of the 5-string banjo technical and artistic development in mind: picking technique, personal style, creativity, and awareness of the instrument's key and tuning potential. Picking technique-Studies in Section 1 will equip you to dissolve the inhibiting notion that some songs are unplayable on the 5-string banjo. Any song is playable if the necessary technique has been learned and developed to accommodate it. Personal style-In Section 2 you will first explore several popular 3-finger sub-styles, seeing how each evolved and how they are all often intermixed within a given performer's own personal style. Through subsequent examples you will be made aware of style potential and the artistic necessity of developing your own personal style. Creativity-Through style development and improvisational skills taught in Section 3 you will begin to think and perform less like a mechanical follower and more like an artistic ground breaker. You will learn to modify arrangements; further, you will learn to create your own arrangements. Exploration of Non-G Keys and Tunings-In Section 4 you will find that playing in keys and tunings other than G are no less fun and no more difficult than playing the familiar G (bluegrass) tuning. Six non-G tunings will be explored, involving ten solos, including major, minor and modal tunings. The overall effort is to make you aware that you don't have to be a technical whiz nor a speed king in order to be a musical artist. If you can add something new and different, something enjoyable to listen to, you are an artist even if you are not yet an advanced-level player.

Banjo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1101412 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Doctor JerBear. Celtic,Folk,Irish,Traditional. Score. 7 pages. Doctor JerBear #704800. Published by Doctor JerBear (A0.1101412). A beautiful English folk tune that was made popular by Simon & Garfunkel. It's arranged in a minor variant of minstrel banjo tuning, and it really captures how the banjo can be used as a melodic instrument, rather than as just a rhythmic force. It's not terribly difficult from a technical standpoint, and should be accessible to intermediate level players. That said, it does allow for much artist interpretation, so is a good choice for players trying to incorporate more musicality into their banjo playing.

Banjo - Beginning - Digital Download SKU: M0.93805EB Three Finger Picking. Folk. E-book. 73 pages. Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music #93805EB. Published by Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music (M0.93805EB). ISBN 9781513455600. 8.75x11.75 inches. All of the arrangements in this book are suitable for play in the very popular style of banjo playing broadly referred to as three finger picking. Within this style we have employed two sub-styles, the Scruggs style and the melodic (sometimes called chromatic) or Keith style. In some cases we have combined features of both the Scruggs style and the melodic style in a single arrangement. Should you have had previous playing experience in either one of these sub-styles but not in both, never fear. The crossover from one sub-style to the other is an easy one. The differences are more to be found in the way you go about learning a given tune than in how you actually play it. So if you have had experience in but one of these sub-styles, perhaps the following style descriptions and comparisons will help.
