Arranged for mountain dulcimer in standard DAd (1-5-8) tuning. The 1+ fret is indicated, but not necessary.
   **The 1+ appears in one optinal note of the intro and in two chords of the chorus. It can be omitted by using a simple bend on the middle string during the intro and by playing on just the melody string during the chorus.
This song should be within reach of all levels of Intermediate player. It uses common chords and most fingerings are not overly complex. The easy, relaxed beat also helps keep this an approchable piece. Additional / optional rhythm notes (in parenthesis) are included for more adventurous players.
As Reggae rhythms are not commonly found in a lot of dulcimer music, getting this syncopation down might be the trickiest part. The old axiom, if you can sing it, you can play it, is especially true here. Listen to your favorite recording several times to help get the groove into your memory.
