Questa edizione ce la propone in una versione per Ocarina e pianoforte.Questo brano dalla melodia morbida e delicata si adatta molto bene all'ocarina e ne esalta il timbro e la cantabilità, è stata aggiunta una parte variata che lo rende più interessante anche dal punto di vista virtuosistico.

E' una danza veloce e gioiosa. In Francia la frase Courir comme un Basque significa Correre come una lepre  (letteralmente sarebbe correre come un Basco).Probabilmente a causa della sua breve durata, oggi il pezzo viene utilizzato molto sovente come bis nei concerti.Il brio e lo spirito di questo brano ben si adattano alle caratteristiche tecniche dell'ocarina.Difficoltà medio alta.
