It is used the name of the now attributed composer Christian Petzold for there is new information about him. The Minuet II in G minor (that follows the most famous Minuet I) is included in this arrangement but is only optional for the performers to play.  The harmony and melodies are kept the same as the original with just a little new counterpoint in the same style. This arrangement, unlike others, tends to balance peaceful and quite parts in a choral fashion with rhythmical parts to get a more interesting work, thus, avoiding being rhythmical all the time. The second movement, starting with an aggressive cello ostinato, represents not only the fall of man, but also advancement and progress toward becoming a unified, advanced society. The third movement, cold and open, looks back at our short time on Earth through the eyeglass of eternity, showing what little impact our chaotic existence has on the grand scheme of things in an infinitely vast universe. A cello cadenza signals the arrival of the final movement which, in contrast to the third, shows our impact on the universe as we are shown the impacts of what we leave behind and left with a singular question: Did our actions matter, or did we fail to leave our mark on an infinite universe?
