Broadway,Musical/Show. 9 pages. Homco/Crinion #1078400. Published by Homco/Crinion (A0.1502731). If I Loved You is a show tune from the Rodgers & Hammerstein 1945 musical Carousel. It is a song in which the lead characters are hesitant about declaring their love for each other because they are too shy to express their true feelings. The song is actually a musical conversation, and the melody flows beautifully. The harmonies are lush and it thus lends itself exquisitely to the sound of the string quartet.

Arranged by Nick Barnard. 20th Century,Broadway,Chamber,Children,Classical,Musical/Show. 18 pages. Nick Barnard #735872. Published by Nick Barnard (A0.1135843). An extended theme & variations arrangement of Eidelweiss - the very last song written together by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The beautiful melody is shared around all the parts making for an arrangement that is satisfying to play and attractive for an audience to listen to. Technically not that hard - certainly readable at weddings and gigs by proficient players but it does require awareness between all the instruments to ensure a good balance and blend of the parts.
