The last piece, Go Tell It on the Mountain, is an African-American spiritual, and is considered a Christmas carol because of the lyrics celebrating the birth of Jesus. The song was compiled by John Wesley Work Jr. around 1865. The medley is designed to be played as one piece with transitions between the carols. However, I also introduced alternate endings so every carol can be played as a stand alone piece if desired.
