For String Quartet: 2 Violin Viola Cello String Bass Difficulty: Intermediate Carpe Diem is a String quartet that was originally meant to be an overture to a Progressive rock song written in my head. The continuo in the cello is a nod to Rush bassist Geddy Lee, as I tried to emulate his style of playing in my writing of this piece.
