This arrangement is a beautiful rendition of the Vanessa Carlton original. Material is treated true to the original with variations on some of the melodic motifs with scale runs and counter melodies. The main melodic themes are seamlessly shared by each of the instruments. The Chorus melody is echoed between two instrument lines which makes for wonderful tension and adds to the crescendo. The arrangement and voicing captures the variety of tones that a String Quartet can produce.
