The guitar accompaniment remains the same while the alto saxophone introduces various divisions in the course of the song and becomes quite florid by the end. There are some passages when the alto sax can go an octave higher, as marked 8va, depending on the player's capabilities. Nur wer die Sehnsucht kennt (known in English as Only the lonely heart or Only the lonely know) - the original song, by Tchaikovsky, was a setting of the poem by Goethe (one of the songs of Mignon in his novel Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre). It is one of Tchaikovsky's most yearning melodies. I have transcribed the piano part into a relatively simple guitar version.
