Then the CELLO plays the melody while the VIOLIN adds broken-chord harmony. The first verse is flowing and legato in the key of C major, but then for the last verse, the PIANO promptly transitions to the key of G major and a more upbeat rhythm with staccato.All notes for both the VIOLIN and CELLO are playable in the first position making this arrangement an excellent choice for early-intermediate string players. The PIANO accompaniment is written for an intermediate player.
