Heinrich Domnich (1767 - 1844) was an accoomplished horn player, teacher, composer and author of an instruction book, his Méthode de Premier et de Second Cor.

This piece demonstrates a complete understanding of the possibilities for the instruments and performers of the time. It is both lively in the two outside movements and dramatic in the middle one. The orchestral writing is delightful and varied and the piece deserves to be performed regularly in the future.

This excellent piece for two horns and orchestra has not been available (as far as I know) as a modern, computer typeset score and parts. It is a marvellous addition to the repertoire.

Antonio Rosetti was a talented and original composer who is often overlooked in favour of the greats of the classical period. This is unfortunate as his work can be well worth performing, being full of colour, variety and sheer delight and he was highly regarded in his day.
This sinfonia in the key of G minor is full of variety with interweaving of the orchestral parts and lovely melodies, while only needing limited forces to make it come to life.

Kuhlau is best known for his piano works, but his orchestral pieces are full of interest, colour and drama. This piece certainly fills those criteria; being the introduction to his opera of the same name. 

The orchestration, while fairly conventional for the period, makes full use of the forces available to him to fine effect in the five minutes or so that this piece takes to perform.

Antonio Rosetti wrote a number of delightful concertos for horn. This one for 2nd Horn does not imply any lack of technique, just that players of the day were divided into high and low. This work lies in a comfortable range for most performers of the modern instrument while being suitably challenging to be interesting. The orchestra parts are well written and sound really well.

Print the parts double-sided including any title pages and the page turns will work.
