Originally written for solo clarinet, an adaptation for solo cello was made in 2012 for cellist Suzanne Mueller, who gave the premiere performance at the Old Westbury Gardens on July 15, 2012. Mueller has also recorded the cello solo for mid-2013 release on her 2013 CD of works for solo cello, Solitaire.
