This piece is a slower more lyrical piece, that really shows off the potential of any trumpet section to play musically, lyrically and beautifully. This piece is designed to evoke emotion in the listener. I've put my heart and sole into this piece I hope you do too! About The Piece After on of my close friends passed away I wrote this piece, not no morn her death, but to celebrate her life. It is based off a poem she wrote in high school titled, My Name is Amy It really showed the strength she had even when things looked bleak. 3 trumpet parts (at least 3 first trumpets).
