Composed by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Folk,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. 17 pages. Diego Marani #912456. Published by Diego Marani (A0.1324259).
In 1882, Tchaikovsky considered creating a concert suite out of numbers from his marvelous ballet Swan Lake, which he had composed six years previously. However, he seems not to have made a final decision, and the authorship of the concert suite published after his death as Op.20a is unknown.
In this arrangement for flute quartet (Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3, Flute 4 or Alto Flute) we have the very famous seventh number of the suite: Neapolitan Dance (Danse Napolitaine). It is suitable for any occasion: repertorie, classroom, recital and for an amazing encore with the characteristic tarantella rhythm.
