Flutes in Town is an original composition for flute quartet or ensemble. Optional parts for piccolo and alto flute are also included. (The piccolo solo is cued in 1st Flute.) This is a “busy� piece, and the real challenge will be the rock style, achieving plenty of drive, hard accents, and really tight playing. That will require some stamina. As is usual in my compositions and arrangements, the lead voice moves around the parts.
