Gold and Silver waltz was composed by Franz Lehar (1870-1948) for Princess Pauline von Metternichā€™s ā€œGold and Silverā€ Ball in January 1902. It has been made popular in recent times by AndrĆ© Rieu and his orchestra.

The Merry Widow (Die lustige Witwe) is an operetta by the Austro-Hungarian composer Franz LehƔr. The operetta has enjoyed extraordinary international success since its 1905 premiere in Vienna and continues to be frequently revived and recorded. Film and other adaptations have also been made. Vilia is one of the most beloved of all romantic songs from the vast library of Viennese operetta. This arrangement for flute quartet (Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3, Flute 4 or Alto Flute) is suitable for classroom, repertoire and recital.
