The arrangement is well-suited to most intermediate level performers in school or community mixed clarinet quartets (3 soprano clarinets & 1 bass clarinet). The beautiful close harmonies make this piece most enjoyable to play as well as listen to. Those close harmonies coupled with the key signature of 5 flats in one section will need some intentional rehearsal individually as well as ensemble. The arrangement will help ensembles to focus on intonation and balance. The first clarinet has the melody throughout. The other parts add harmonies that beautifully support the melody.
