American Hymn Suite is a medley of You'll Hear the Trumpet Sound, My Lord What a Morning, What Wondrous Love is This, Amazing Grace, and Holy Manna with short transitional material between each hymn or spiritual.  Total performance time is about 5:30.  The range and rhythms are appropriate for younger musicians, but the tempo of Holy Manna might be slightly difficult.  There is an arc of fast, slow, fast tunes throughout to provide contrast and interest to the players and audience.  Perfect for recitals, weddings, and church services.  A great way to introduce audiences to a wide variety of traditional American music. .
