Satie wrote it without bar lines: I have added dashed ones to aid performance.

The melody moves around the instruments,and I have varied the accompaniment giving the bass to the three lower clarinets.

The expression marks are my own. Satie marks the piece p throughout, with some cresc/dim.

My arrangement differs from many others, in that the melody is NOT given to one instrument throughout.

One of the multiple hit singles from Michael Jackson's BAD album, this song contains lots of musical detail which I have kept in this arrangement. The original synth bass line moves around all over the place, as seen in the bass clarinet part here. The other four instruments all have significant melodic material as well. Excellent for wedding or concert programmes.

This song is the opening track on The Beatles' 1969 album Abbey Road. It features an easily-recogniseable bass line, and a very blues-driven groove. All the instruments feature throughout this arrangement - you're gonna need a funky bass clarinet player!
