2017 Holiday Contest Entry

Your intermediate saxophone quartet will enjoy performing this cheery setting of a Christmas-time classic. This short, fun arrangement is designed for use on holiday-themed concerts and recitals, but could also be used as an in-class chamber music assessment as it contains a variety of dynamics and articulations to enhance the spirit of the music. Most importantly, there are challenges for every member of the ensemble. 

Although the arrangement is designed for intermediate players, an advanced group could keep it handy as an easy reader for holiday recitals and parties where longer sets are necessary.
