This beautiful song has been arranged for saxophone quartet (SATB). It is very true to the Elvis Costello version from the film 'Notting Hill'. Most of the part-writing is straightforward, with the enharmonic key change providing the only real challenge. This would provide a good showcase for a competent soprano saxophone player, or a clarinet player could take the solo part instead of soprano saxophone.

I am an experienced arranger who is continuously tweaking and modifying arrangements for use in the school where I teach and in ensembles I play in myself. All of my arrangements have been thoroughly checked, performed and they work.

‘Plaisir D’Amour’, ‘The Pleasure of Love’, was written by G. H. Martini in 1784. It has remained extremely popular inspiring contemporary versions like Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ and many recordings by well-known artists like Paul Robeson, Nana Mouskouri and Charles Aznavour.
